Dr. Ayotunde Adeyeri is the medical director of Sterling Surgicare, with offices in Holmdel, Old Bridge and Freehold, NJ.

He is also co-medical director of Central Jersey Bariatrics and medical director at The Institute for Weight Loss, Old Bridge Medical Center (formerly Raritan Bay Medical Center), Hackensack Meridian Health.

Dr. Adeyeri specializes in performing bariatric surgery operations including gastric bypass, gastric sleeve (VSG), lap-band, duodenal switch (DS) and bariatric revision.

He also performs minimally-invasive laparoscopic gastrointestinal (GI) surgery and general surgery.

MEDICAL EDUCATION

Dr. Adeyeri completed his general surgery residency at Columbia University’s Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, where he was appointed chief resident (2006-2007).

At the University of Rochester, he completed fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic, bariatric and GI surgery.

He has been practicing surgery in New Jersey since 2008.

He is a longtime Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
