Dr. Ayotunde Adeyeri is the medical director of Sterling Surgicare, with offices in Holmdel, Old Bridge and Freehold, NJ.
He is also co-medical director of Central Jersey Bariatrics.
Serving as medical director at The Institute for Weight Loss, Raritan Bay Medical Center, Dr. Adeyeri specializes in performing bariatric surgery operations including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, lap-band, duodenal switch (DS) and revision (redo) bariatric surgery.
He also performs advanced gastrointestinal (GI) surgery and general surgery.
Dr. Adeyeri completed his general surgery residency at Columbia University’s Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, where he was appointed chief resident (2006-2007).
At the University of Rochester, he completed fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic, bariatric and GI surgery.
He has been practicing surgery in New Jersey since 2008.
He is a longtime Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
